Foreign investors who wish to obtain personal Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) but do not qualify to obtain National Identification Number from NIDA can apply TIN at Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA) Samora office and Kinondoni TRA office. Those outside Dar es Salaam can visit TRA regional offices to obtain TIN without having NIDA ID.
At least one directors of the company must be physically present at the tax office to give their fingerprints.
